Terms of Use

Last updated: July 10, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Plura application ("Plura", "the app"). By downloading, installing, or using Plura, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Plura is a bring-your-own-key (BYOK) AI client with no server backend of its own; please also read our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

01Acceptance and eligibility

By using Plura you confirm that you can form a binding contract and that you will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws. Because Plura connects to third-party AI services, it is intended for users old enough to use such services responsibly. If you use Plura on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

02What Plura is

Plura is a client application that lets you connect to third-party AI and search providers using your own API keys, and to run local models. Plura itself operates no AI models and no server backend. It is a conduit between your device and the providers you choose. We do not generate, control, monitor, or store the content that passes between you and those providers.

03Your keys and third-party providers

You are responsible for obtaining your own API keys and for all activity conducted with them. When you use a provider through Plura, your use is also governed by that provider's own terms and policies, and you agree to comply with them. Providers named in the app (for example OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, Ollama, Tavily, Brave, Serper) are independent third parties and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or controlled by us; their names and marks belong to their respective owners.

The availability, accuracy, output, pricing, and behavior of any provider are the responsibility of that provider, not of Plura. We are not liable for a provider changing, suspending, rate-limiting, or discontinuing its service, or for any charges a provider bills to you.

04Fees

Plura 1.0 is a free app and contains no in-app purchases. All costs of using AI and search providers are billed directly to you by those providers under your own accounts and keys, and we receive no share of them. Plura does not include any AI usage credits.

05AI-generated content — no professional advice

Content produced through Plura is generated by third-party AI models. It may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or offensive, and may not reflect real facts. You must independently verify any output before relying on it. AI output does not constitute medical, legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice, and using Plura does not create any professional relationship.

You are solely responsible for how you use any output, including any decisions you make and any content you publish or share. You use AI-generated content at your own risk.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to use Plura to:

You are responsible for the content you submit to providers and for the results you obtain.

07Intellectual property

The Plura app, its name, logo, and design are owned by the developer and protected by law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for its intended purpose. Ownership of the content you input, and of the output you receive from providers, is determined by your agreements with those providers and by applicable law; we claim no ownership of it.

08Disclaimer of warranties

Plura is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any provider will be available or produce any particular result. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or provider fees, arising out of or relating to your use of Plura or of any third-party provider. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or your mandatory consumer rights.

10Changes and termination

We may update these Terms as the app evolves; material changes will be reflected here with an updated date, and your continued use after changes take effect means you accept them. You may stop using Plura at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or discontinue the app, in whole or in part, at any time.

11Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the developer's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory protection you are entitled to under the consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. Where Plura is obtained through the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies and, in case of conflict, governs your use of the app to the extent required by Apple.
